DIMON – Diskus Monitoring Box: This is available as a temporary or stationary system for checking vibrations occurring in the machines.
Each assembly in a machine (such as the bearing in a motor driven spindle) has a typical vibration pattern, which allows recognition of changes, such as can occur from wear, or a change in the vibration characteristics.
This allows early recognition of when an assembly is about to fail, so that the production down time required for repair can be planned in advance. This minimizes production down times and reduces costs.
